On January 9th, members of the Grayson County Democratic Committee gathered to select new officers and precinct captains for the 2008-09 cycle.

Selected as district captains on Tuesday evening were:

Providence District: Joe Vaughan

Elk Creek District: Junior Young

Wilson District: George Haydt

Oldtown District: Delmer Fields

Also elected as party officers were:

Secretary: Nancy Fields

Treasurer: Sandra Jennings

Vice Chairman: Sarah Hauslohner

Chairmen: Mary Lily Nuckolls and Shawn Becker
