Texas Representatives’ Contact Information, State and Federal

STATE
The 85th Texas Legislative session started January 10, and lasted 140 days. The most intense legislative activity occurred in March, April and May. The legislature meets in odd years. Gov Abbott called for a Special Session in order to pass some ugly bills he was unable to get through during the regular session.

What you can do: Legislators are very concerned with what the voters think, and because of this, they can be influenced. You can email, call or visit the office of your representative, senator, or key policymakers, as can any concerned resident. Sign up for an ACLU Texas action alert to know when you need to swing into action.
