An Indivisible TX Redistricting Event
Cindy Burkett (R-Sunnyvale) is the chairwoman of the Texas House Redistricting Committee. Under her leadership, the committee has failed to hold a *single* hearing, a distinction shared by no other committee. This is despite the fact that Texas’ election districts are being invalidated left and right by the district court in San Antonio and there are numerous redistricting reform bills stalled in her committee. She is blocking *all* attempts at reform, or even discussion, and is cynically running out the clock on this legislative session. More info on Actions page.
