2020
General Election Elected
Officials | |
Congratulations to President Elect Joe
Biden and Vice President Elect Kamala Harris. It
is a relief to turn toward healing and recovery.
As we move forward, let us continue to stay
engaged. | |
Congratulations
to the new and returning elected
officials
We
are immensely proud of each candidate, campaign
staff, community advocates, poll greeters, and
supporters in this election. We have built
relationships with voters, candidates, and
elected officials. Great strides were made with
new collaborations strengthening the political
infrastructure representing our communities
across Texas.
Now
that we have passed the general election,
contacting, and connecting with your state
senate and house representative is the next
step. The Texas Legislature meets in January
2021. Healthcare, redistricting, and minimum
wage are economic recovery game changers. The
legislature is the body of government which
decides on the outcome.
Do
not let the energy settle, redirect, continue
texting and calling your friends and family.
Share insightful and thoughtful conversations on
how life has changed. Include your elected
official, question state and local government's
response to your specific needs. Act like your
vote matters.
Be
well. Get some rest. Stay Ready!
