Anyone who completes their application and purchases a plan by December 15th will be covered starting on January 1st.
So here’s what you need to know to get started, in three easy steps.
Step One — Apply:
Head on over to HealthCare.gov to start and complete your application.
Step Two — Shop:
Once you’ve filled out the application, it’s time to pick out the right plan that works for you and your budget in the marketplace. There are many options to choose from.
Step Three — Buy:
This one’s important: After you’ve completed your application and selected your plan in the marketplace, you have to submit payment for your plan. If you submit your payment before December 15th, your coverage can begin on January 1st. So be sure to complete the process.
