The White House and Congress have just released the framework for a $1.75 trillion Build Back Better bill.
The progressive bloc held, and we’re on the path to passing Build Back Better after passing the Bipartisan Infrastructure Package. Childcare, climate action, home care and affordable housing are all still on the table, thanks to the hard work of activists, the Congressional Progressive caucus, President Biden and many others.
Call to insist that the bill address the high price of prescription drugs. Call and urge them to keep fighting for Medicare negotiation to be included in the final bill. Now is the time. There will not be a better opportunity to lower drug prices than this moment.
Voters expect the President and Congress to keep their promises and let Medicare negotiate for lower drug prices.
