Coverage Losses by Congressional District Under the House ACA Repeal Bill

The Congressional Budget Office predicts that in Texas Congressional District 4, represented by Republican John Ratcliffe, 38,400 Medicaid recipients will lose coverage, about 13,000 would no longer be covered by their private health insurance, and another 3,900 will lose coverage through the exchanges. Everyone else will have higher premiums and often with higher deductibles. Ratcliffe, along with all the other Republicans in the House of Representatives, supports passing this heartless bill so that the rich can get yet more tax breaks. The House of Representatives will vote Thursday on repeal of the Affordable Care Act.  Call Republican Representative John Ratcliffe’s office to tell him to vote NO. DC: 202-225-6673; Sherman: 903-813-5270.
