A note from Plano Precinct Chair about why NOT to vote for Kesha Rogers and Jim Hogan:

The Democratic Party run-off ballot has ONLY two items – US Senate and Commissioner of Agriculture.  There are two candidates who must be defeated so they don’t drag down the entire statewide Democratic ticket.

I recommend you votefor David Alameel for theUS Senate race.  Please DO NOT vote for Kesha Rogers.  Rogers is an active supporter of the LaRouche Youth Movement.  Don’t be deceived because she is an African American.  She calls for the impeachment of President Barack Obama and has been photographed holding a campaign sign depicting President Obama with a Hitler mustache.  She has also criticized the Affordable Care Act (health care), arguing that it is fascist and will kill Americans. She is not a Democrat and is not supported by any organization that supports Democratic Party values.

I recommend that you votefor Kinky Friedman forCommissioner of Agriculture.  You may not be a fan of Kinky Friedman (I’m not), but DO NOT vote for Jim Hogan, the candidate he’s running against in the Democratic run-off for Agriculture Commissioner.  Hogan is likely a Republican in disguise.  A check of Hogan’s voting records finds that he usually votes in the Republican primary, except for the Democratic primary in 2008, perhaps prompted by Limbaugh’s “Operation Chaos” movement.  The Democratic Party Officer in Johnson County where Hogan lives says he was horrified when he attempted to determine whether Hogan supported school lunch programs, overseen by the Agriculture Commissioner.  Hogan said “what poor people need to do is plant gardens and that would solve a lot of problems with the lunch programs.”  There’s more.  If you have time, please read the full article at this link:  http://blogs.houstonpress.com/hairballs/2014/04/jim_hogan_trojan_horse_in_demo.php

Surprisingly, those two really bad candidates got enough votes in the Primary to end up in the Democratic Party run-offs.  Don’t sleep this election.  Please make your vote count!

If you voted in the Democratic Primary, it is imperative that you vote in this run-off election.  Thanks for your support.
