Weekend of Action in Sherman – Updated

Update: Team Wendy far exceeded our goal of 50,001 doors knocked and 50,001 calls made–we knocked more than 75,000 doors and made more than 91,000 calls this past weekend!

What does it take to win? 50% plus 1.

We’re throwing a giant 50+1 Weekend of Action, starting Saturday, Aug 2. Organizers have planned hundreds of canvasses and phone banks across the state and, with your help, we’re going to knock on 50,001 doors and make 50,001 phone calls for Wendy Davis and other Texas Democrats.

Will you help us hit those goals by joining a 50+1 Weekend of Action event in Sherman this Saturday?

Volunteer for a canvassing block walk Sat. morning or for a phone bank in the afternoon.

Join us for a Team Wendy canvass! We’ll knock on doors around the community, talking to our neighbors about getting Wendy Davis elected this November.

If you’ve never canvassed before, don’t worry! We’ll give you a quick training before you head out. Just bring a smile and wear comfortable shoes. RSVP below if you’ll be there. Not only is person-to-person, face-to-face contact the very best thing you can do to help Wendy win, it’s also a blast! You won’t want to miss this event.

We’ve set some pretty steep goals for this weekend. But I’m confident we can hit them because Team Wendy has some of the most dedicated, passionate supporters I’ve ever seen (and I’ve been working in politics for a while now).

We’ve got the numbers on our side for this one — if everyone pitches in what they can, we’ll hit our goals in no time.
