T-shirts still for sale, 3 different designs, $10 for most sizes, $12 for 2x and 3x
March for Racial Justice at courthouse 9/29 from 11:30am until 1pm This is a March with a Mission, generations have marched but there are still a lot of policies and minds to change.
Early voting coming up soon, Phone banking on Monday at Pam’s McGraw’s offices. Calling for Commie’s campaign
Action Committee is looking into bringing in speakers
Holiday social ideas are needed…. Jan is leading this effort.
Common Concerns
Meeting 10/3 John White coordinating for the next few months. Speaker Britanie Martin director of Child Guidance center / Director of United Way. On Thursday nights 6:30pm at Grandies
Festival Committee
Festivals – This week Pottsboro, Frontiers Day
Denison Main Street Festival – Ron and Jean tearing up and setting up 10/7
Whitesboro Peanut Festival
Denison is the largest concentration of Democratic voters in Grayson County

Local candidates should be at the festivals…
Need volunteers…
Recruitment Committee – Pam McGraw
Candidate signup, Nov. 11 – Dec. 11 signup as candidate. Need someone to run for county judge, they don’t have to be an attorney.
Phone banking –
Monday nights, calls for Commie now. We need to make calls.
Lindy is organizing a group of people to write handwritten cards.
Calls can be anytime during the week if you have a computer and van access.
Indivisible –
We work with the organization. Lindy and Dan running.
March for Justice,
Counter protests by white supremist are planning to show up. First time counter protestors have threatened to disrupt one of our marches
Confederate Monument – Lander shared his thoughts on the monument. The Grayson monument is a generic monument, tell people the full story about the monument. Tell the William Durham story.
Commie, Pam, and Valerie spoke to the group about their candidacies. Each of them bring an inclusive, progressive point of view to their candidacies.
