North Carolina improves voter turnout, and then came the Republicans who turned it around

Grayson County Supervisors conspired with state and national Republicans in a plan to
reduce voter participation by closing several polling places in Grayson County.
This plan was approved by Texas Sec. of State John Steen. This is
just one of several methods Republicans are using throughout the nation to
reduce voter turnout at elections. States are experiencing new photo voter ID laws, reduced early voting hours, college student IDs no longer valid for voting, ending of souls to the polls by not opening early voting locations the Sunday before the election, gerrymandering districts, purging voter lists, harassment at the polls. Our challenge: get as many Democrats excited about voting as possible. Are you registered? Are your friends and relatives? Make sure all Democrats you know are registered and that they actually go to the polls and vote.
