It’s time to take Texas back to the people of this great state. Walk with friends and neighbors on Saturday mornings. We’ll provide a script to use as a guide, and a list of folks to reach out to. These are independent or undecided people who are registered to vote, but who often fail to make it to the polls. Many of them are Democrats who need encouragement. There are enough of them in the state to swing this election. We need to reach out to them. We need your help. As Hillary Clinton says, “it takes a village.” Rise up, grab a clip board (put down those pitch forks) and block walk with us for a couple of hours.

We’ve watched as Texas moved from Ann Richards to George Bush to Rick Perry. We can’t just sit there and watch Greg Abbott become the next governor of Texas! It’s time to stand up and change the course of history.It’s time to take action. Every person we talk to about Wendy Davis moves us one step closer to restoring democracy in Texas. This state currently belongs hook, line, and sinker to Exxon/Mobile, the Koch brothers, and any other billionaire willing to make a bid. It’s time for change.
