Time is running out to apply to be an OFA summer fellow.
We’re looking for passionate and engaged organizers from around the country who want to get deep in the trenches and learn more about issue advocacy. We want people who want to get their hands dirty in the fight for change.
The fellowship will run from July through August, and the deadline to apply is this Sunday, June 15th.
If someone you know has dreams of being a leader in the progressive movement, here’s where to fill out an application today.
This is about learning the ins and outs of community organizing — from phone banks to one-on-one meetings and press conferences, the people who go through the Fellows Program leave with the tools needed to rally support around an issue.
The OFA Fellows Program is exactly the kind of thing I would have loved when I was getting my start. Instead, I took the long route to learn that every conversation matters. Every door knocked, or call made — it all adds up fast.
That’s how real change happens.
The people who graduate from this program are in a position to go on to do big things in the progressive community.
But spots are limited, and the program’s competitive.
Don’t wait — if you know someone you’d recommend, or if you want to apply yourself, do it before the deadline this Sunday:

P.S. — Our spring fellows were an amazing group. You gotta see this video that highlights some of the best parts of the program.
