Sherman’s own Jaden Slagle has returned home to work for the Wendy Davis campaign.
Come meet him this Saturday at 11:00 am to learn about phone banking and block walking events and to plan a local celebration on June 25th marking the one year anniversary of Wendy’s historic and heroic filibuster. Afterwards we will head out to knock on some doors in the community. The meeting and activities will end at 2:00 pm.
Hope to see you Saturday at my house, 3000 Anthony Dr. in Sherman. From 1417 south of 82 turn east on Red Bud and then turn north on Anthony Dr. My house is close to the middle of the block on the west side of the street and has a red front door and red mailbox. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes, dress for the weather, and bring some water and snacks!
